Since 2012, we have been farming alpacas in the Hunter Valley for their robustness, character, friendliness, and wonderful fleece, which we hand-spun.

General Info
GST and delivery apply to all livestock sales.
Please ensure you have your PIC# ready.
We offer monthly alpaca farming workshops so you can learn before you start your own alpaca journey. We also sell an agricultural guide to alpacas, which can be purchased from our shop cart.
We do not sell alpacas as guards because they are not a match for (wild) dogs and often get injured or slaughtered by them. We care about our alpacas and won't put them in that situation.
To prevent overgrazing and ensure proper grass recovery, we divide our large pastures into smaller paddocks and rotate our alpacas through them. This practice not only enhances the health of our pastures but also improves the nutritional quality of forage available to our herd. To express your interest, email us and provide details about you and your farm.
Please ensure you have the correct pens and shelters and know what is needed/required if you have crias or birthing dam. Dam and Cria are to be together until the weaning time (6 months), then agree to have the vet castrate the male at the appropriate age. If you have any questions, just let us know. Thanks, Daniela
Rescue Alpaca
We rarely rescue alpacas, but we take them in to help out whenever we can. We aim to restore their health, address trust issues, and teach them to interact with other alpacas and humans again.
I spend a significant amount of time building trust and desensitising the alpacas. This is crucial for us to be able to calmly handle them, trim their nails, shear them, and administer vaccinations and vitamins. It's this level of care that helps them thrive once again in the paddocks.
RESCUE alpaca is for rehoming to the right home and not for breeding. She came into our care several months ago. She is a are great girl who has bonded with me over the last several months, and now it is time for a forever home. An adoption fee applies. Write to us about why you would like to adopt.
Please take note:
All of our alpacas are up-to-date on vaccinations, FEC testing and drenching, and vitamins. They were all shorn in September 2023. Some hembras are not for breeding, and some are pregnant. We will make notes of this in each profile.
If you're planning to breed in the future, it's essential to carefully consider how you'll manage same-sex paddocks and handle weaning and the males on your property. Breeding requires multiple paddocks, so it's essential to understand why males and females need to be separated and why males should be castrated at the appropriate age. Take some time to research these topics thoroughly so you can make informed decisions.
Consider joining our weekend workshop or purchasing our farming alpaca book to serve as your guide for starting out. We give priority to individuals who have attended our alpaca sales workshop. Alpacas are herd animals and should not be kept alone. We always sell them as a pair or small herd.
We are registered breeders with the Australian Alpaca Association. If you would like to register alpacas, please let us know beforehand, as there will be a transfer fee added per animal as some are not registered, but we will confirm this. We can also arrange delivery for a small fee based on your location.
By filling out the form below, let us know what you want regarding alpacas, your budget and how many. We will get back to you within 24 hours, as we love talking about all things alpacas. Alpaca sales open days are run quarterly, so follow us on our socials or subscribe to our mailing list. Thank you, Daniela
